You make me grin! Read all the articles and watched the video… Bet your parents were shocked!

Good luck on the new venture –

  • Thank you so much for your information about the code academy options in the SF area. I have spent many hours doing research and trying to piece together an overall view of the quality of the different schools. Your posts gave me exactly what I needed. I plan to apply to App Academy in the next few weeks.I wish you the best of luck in all of your future endeavors. :-)

  • Thanks for your tips and teachings on this blog. As a software engineer from outside the US wanting to break into the Valley I’ve found your story very inspirational. I will definitely have coaching with you.

    Thanks

  • Thanks for sharing your experiences Haseeb!
As a Computer Science student headed towards graduation your tips for negotiation couldn’t have been written at a better time.

    Cheers.

  • Hello Haseeb I found your experiences to be insightful, interesting and realistic but what advice would you have for someone seeking to not just break in the tech industry but also want to be a digital nomad looking for remote work opportunities.

  • Haseeb,

Were you serious about funding my coffee dates?
I could sure use a confidence boost right about now!

I am a PHP guy, who loves Laravel, Bootstrap, jQuery and Cloud9. I am about to take on Java, just to get a better understanding of the mobile side of things.

Thank you for helping others out!

  • Hi Haseeb,

Thanks for sharing your work on Effective Altruism and earning-to-give. You mentioned you selected a few high impact charities. Would you mind sharing the process for selecting those charities? I usually worry about whether I’m giving the money to the right place or if this money could have been used better by someone else. Your insights could help me with this dilemma.

    Thanks,
    Athena

    • Hi Athena,

I’ll be posting a blog post very soon reflecting on my year-end donations for 2016 where I’ll touch on this stuff. Hopefully that should answer your questions, if not feel free to reach out to me personally. :)

  • Hello Haseeb,

    your posts are very inspiring.
I especially liked finding out about the Earning to give concept. Thanks for sharing!
    Good luck with your career!
