Quoracast Interview

quora

Hey gang, Wanted to feature a really in-depth interview I did on Quoracast with my old friend Jeff Meyerson (also known as Crablar back in the day). We discuss in detail my early poker years, living with Dan “Jungleman12” Cates and Ashton “ASHMAN103″ Griffin, and the infamous Million Dollar Bet. Give it a listen, and […]Read more »

The Million Dollar Bet

house-of-cards-falling

Lately, I’ve been thinking about the infamous “million dollar bet” I made back in 2011. Today, I thought I’d repost the original story on this blog so it’s all here in one place. I was originally planning to rewrite it, but I’ve decided instead that I should post the whole thing unedited. It was very […]Read more »

  1. Hi Haseeb,

I’ve just read (or should I say listen) your book “How to Be a Poker Player: The Philosophy of Poker”. It’s great read! I just wanted to let you know that, I think it will mean lot to you…

I love how you talk about things that most people rarely or never talk in their books/videos. There are lots of strategy books/videos out there but nothing like this or at least I didn’t find it.

Only thing that you could improve in your next book is volume of sound in audio book. It’s to low, at least for me. I’m listening book on my cell phone (smartphone, on Audible app), not sure where volume tone was lost, if it was while you where recording it, maybe later in Audible app or maybe somewhere on my smartphone.

Anyway, I enjoyed your book a lot, waiting for a new one soon!

P.S. sorry for my English I’m aware it’s that good :)

    Cheers,

    Goran

    • Hi Goran,

Thank you for the kind words–you’re right, haha, it does mean a lot to hear that. :)

The volume really shouldn’t be a problem; I had it normalized via editing on the computer, and Audible does their own volume checks to make sure the volume fit normal audiobook requirements. It may have been an issue with Audible or your phone’s output? I’m not sure. I can try to look into it.

But thank you again! If you got a lot out of it, it’d be great if you could leave a review online to let others know what you thought. It’d be a big help to me. :)

      Best,
      Haseeb
